McDonald’s sold the shake from June 12 to July 9, 2023, to mark Grimace’s 52nd birthday. A TikToker named thefrazmaz posted a video drinking the shake and cutting to himself lying on the floor as though dead, and thousands of copycat “Grimace Shake” videos followed within weeks.
